To the north are the business districts, dining, and shopping areas of Ladera Ranch, Rancho Santa Margarita, and Mission Viejo. To the east lie thousands of acres of permanently preserved ranchlands, which merge into Caspers Wilderness Park and the Cleveland National Forest.

Sendero was thoughtfully designed with recreational areas that promote social connection and a healthy lifestyle. These include private and shared clubhouses, a social hall and plaza, a village green, swimming pools, a fitness center, and many other gathering spots. As a resident of RMV, you also have access to all amenities throughout Rancho Mission Viejo. Below is a list of some of the amenities available in Sendero.
